A Sorry Excuse to Not Carry Glacier Anymore
By Michael in United States , 05/31/2022 07:56 PM
These boots are utterly unsatisfactory. They are difficult to get on, difficult to tie, and do not offer the ankle support that I came to appreciate from Drew Shoes. These boots cannot accommodate my ankle foot orthotics. The Iceberg deserves its name, because it's a disaster of titanic proportions.
Absolutely not up to the usual Drew standard - the hooks to tighten laces fell off very first time I wore the boots
By ARBBad in WA/USA , 10/20/2021 02:39 AM
I ordered the garish orange one, that's how desperate I was to find a shoe/boot that FIT. The boots fit well enough, but otherwise the quality was dreadful. The little hooks to tighten laces before tying off instead popped off the very FIRST time I wore them out of the house. I thought I felt the boot loosen on one foot, and when I came home and took them off, 3 of the 6-8 hooks had fallen off on that boot somewhere along the way.
  Well made, fits slightly narrow
By Michael in Connecticut , 01/05/2021 10:51 AM
This is a great boot for snow and icy conditions. Sturdy and has nice leather. My only criticism is that it seems to run a bit narrow at the toebox. The widest they make is a 2E/3E and it is still a bit narrow for my client. She measures as a 2E but her bunion is sensitive and the stiff leather needed to be stretched to accommodate her.
Beautiful boots, but very tight across the instep
By Deb in Pennsylvania, USA , 12/31/2020 08:25 AM
These would be perfect for winter snow and ice, but, despite being lace-up boots, are very tight across the instep, so I have to return them. I ordered the size I wear in other Drew Boots, but even with thin socks, find them way too tight. Apart from the instep, they fit well, so for those who don't have a high arch, they may be fine.
