FAQ

Please read our Drew Shoe FAQ before making a purchase to ensure that you have the best possible experience with us.

When Will I Receive My Order?  At Drew our goal is to ship your order within one to two business days after we receive it. There are many factors that can impact order processing times including order volume, weather, and address verification issues. Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground delivery and take approximately 3 to 10 business days to arrive for ground shipping.  Delivery times also vary depending upon where you live within the country. If your order does not arrive within the allotted time, please call our Customer Service Dept. at 1-800-837-3739 to track your order. You will receive notification via email once your order has been shipped. You can also check your order status here: https://www.drewshoe.com/User/GetOrderDetails.

How Can I Track My Order? Once the order ships you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes a tracking number. You can track your packing using your tracking number at www.ups.com. If you have not received a shipping email within 3-4 business days please reach out to customer service at [email protected] or check your status here, https://www.drewshoe.com/User/GetOrderDetails.

Can I Return My Shoes?  We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are displeased with your Drew shoes, feel free to return any unworn item within 30 days of your purchase for an exchange or refund minus your original shipping charges.  Be sure to test your new shoes on a soft, carpeted surface, as shoes that are scuffed or worn are not returnable. Returned shoes must also include the return form located on the back of the packing slip that comes with your shipment.  The purchaser must pay all return shipping costs. If you would like to exchange an item, Drew will gladly send your new order with no additional shipping charges. If you have lost or misplaced your return form, click here to download an alternative form.

How Long Does It Take To Get A Refund? Please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive at our facility. We recommend you keep a record of your tracking number so you can track your return and know when it is delivered. Once we receive the items your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days. Keep it mind it may take additional time to appear on your debit/credit card.

Will Insurance Pay for my Shoes? Many Drew items are considered orthopedic and may be covered by some insurances or Medicare. Drew Shoe does not accept insurance as payment. You should consult your medical provider or use the store locator on our website to find out more.

Do You Offer A Warranty? Yes! If you feel like you have received a defective shoe please give us the opportunity to make it right. What size Drew Shoe should I purchase?  Just like clothing, shoe sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. At Drew, we base our sizes on the Brannock Device available in most shoe stores. To get the best possible fit, we recommend having your foot measured by a reputable shoe store before ordering any one of our Drew shoes. Alternatively, you can find a Drew dealer in your area by accessing the Drew Shoe Store Locator on our home page and try them on for yourself. We also recommend that you look at the Find Footwear for Your Foot Condition section on our website to ensure you are getting the most therapeutic benefits.

What are you width sizes equivalent too? Our widths are based off the measurements on the Brannock Device.

In our Men's shoes Narrow is B, Medium is D, Wide is 2E, 4W is 4E, and 6E.

The majority of our Women's shoes follow the widths as follows: Slim is 4A, Narrow is 2A, Medium is B, Wide is D, WW (wide wide) is 2E, and XW (Extra Wide) is 4E. This is with the exception of the Sedona and Phoenix Plus styles. Please visit their listing and look at the overview to see their width equivalency.

What is a Last?  At Drew, the Last comes first! The "Last" is the three dimensional plastic model that resembles the shape of the foot. It is the form that leather is pulled over and where the outsoles attach to create a shoe. There are many different Lasts designed to fit different foot shapes.  The Drew Shoe Corporation has created our own unique Lasts for men and women and we manufacture our footwear to accommodate for a large variety of foot shapes and foot conditions. Additionally, each Drew Shoe Last comes in a wide array of sizes and widths to ensure the best possible fit.

How Do I Clean My Shoes? When cleaning your shoes it it always best to first test an inconspicuous area.

  • Full Grain Leather, wash only with a damp cloth and mild soap. Apply a cream polish that matches the color of the shoe and let sit for a few minutes. Buff with a clean, soft cloth or soft brush for shine. Let the shoes air dry.
  • Suede or Nubuck-brush lightly with a soft brush specifically made for suede and nubuck products. This brush can be purchased at your local shoe store. Brush the material on occasion to refresh.
  • Mesh- remove dirt and debris with a soft bristle brush. Use a clean cloth and mild soap then air dry.
  • Drew Shoe is not responsible for damages due to cleaning.

How Do I Extend The Life Of My Shoes? Always store your shoes at room temperature. Do not store shoes in a shoe box for a long periods of time. Remember to rotate your shoes and wear each pair at least a few days a month. Prolonged storage can cause certain materials to deteriorate, particularly in humid climates.

Can I Buy Your Shoes at a Store?  Yes!  To find a therapeutic shoe store in your area of the United States, please enter your zip code or other search criteria into the Drew Shoe Store Locator on our home page. Use the Drew Shoe Store Locator to search within a specific distance from your location and find a list of shoe stores that have an account with us and purchase from us regularly. Most locations in our database do not stock every style we make, but the majority of them will "special order" the shoes for you. We also provide the telephone numbers for the stores in our database in most cases. Be sure to call ahead to obtain store hours and driving directions before traveling any long distances.
