My Favorite shoe!
I've been wearing Drew shoes for a long time and the Bloom II is my go to shoe. I have extensive neuropathy, flat feet and Charcot so shoes are important! This shoe is breathable,
durable, supportive, stable and I get
many compliments on them. In my experience all the Drews I have bought are great which keeps me a happy customer! Also because Drew
has good customer service too!
RESOLVED BY REPLACING PART: Metal clasp just snapped apart
I have worn Drew's Bloom II shoes (black leather) for a very long time and have had no issues with the shoes. A little over a year ago, I purchased a replacement pair and just recently pulled them out. While on vacation, the metal clasp that holds the Velcro strap just broke apart. The shop where I purchased these shoes do not repair. I called Drew to find out that since I did not purchase them from Drew direct, they could/would not help me. Sad that Drew would not stand behind their shoes.
Wonderful fit, but materials don’t hold up over time
I bought a pair of these Bloom II in black. My feet were so very happy, they fit my custom orthotics. I mistakenly thought they would last longer than nine months. The Velcro strap would not stay connected after about 6 months. Then just a couple of weeks ago the metal clasp that the Velcro goes through to fasten the shoe, broke. Now I have a very expensive, comfortable shoes that I can’t wear. I’m an elderly widow on SS so buying a new pair of shoes is a challenge.
